Bio:
I was born in Montreal, Quebec. I attended public schools through high school, then went on to get my Bachelors in Arts from Bishop's University. My husband Peter and I moved to Connecticut where I got my Masters in Human Resource Development, and worked as an Employee Assistance Program Coordinator. Peter and I took two years "off" to sail a Westsail 32' over to Europe and returned via the Canary Islands and Caribbean. It was an incredibly inspiring and challenging experience. When it was time to start our family, we decided to move to Maine. I worked in Crisis Intervention for a few years and decided to stay home with the boys when it was clear how very quickly they were growing up! I became a Parent Educator after attending a life changing workshop entitled the Needs of Children. I offered the workshop in community and at the Maine Correctional Center for incarcerated parents. I was also an active community volunteer with Communities for Children, a high school mentor program and as a trustee on the library board. I discovered the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine while discerning what my next steps should be. After Ordination as an interfaith minister, I stayed on at the Chaplaincy Institute for ten years as Administrator and then Dean of Students. I found the work of offering spiritual companionship to students, and supporting them as they explored their callings very rewarding. In 2024 I enrolled at the Chaplaincy Institute in California to study Spiritual Direction and was certified in 2025. |
Sitting or walking with individuals and couples, I listen deeply to what they are struggling with, and offer compassion and understanding. I believe everyone has the wisdom they need inside to move forward. Sometimes a little guidance can help tap that inner wisdom. |
I help individuals, families, couples and organizations. We work together to determine what their current situation is , and then I work with their beliefs and traditions to help create what it is they want and need. |
